Argentina rugby team would be reportedly playing the Barbarians in 2015 November. The match would be hosted at Twickenham.

The match is going to be a significant one for the Barbarians as it would mark their successful 125th anniversary. Baabaas had quite a tough time last year but then they managed to bounce back with great vigor this year fighting against some of the elite most squads of the rugby world. They came up with 49-39 to youthful English squad and had narrow loss to Australia with a score of 40-36 last month.

Stuart Lancaster To Coach The English Rugby Team For Six More Years, Contract Renewed

Stuart Lancaster has renewed his contract for six more years as the coach of the English Rugby team. He will be able to see England through the rugby world cup of 2009 which will be held in Japan
His coaching team comprising of coaches Graham Rountree, Andy Farrell and Mike Catt he also each signed a deal that will be in effect till the end of the season of 2019-2020.
Lancaster had to fight for the post of permanent head coach of England Rugby Team in the March of 2012, but this contract shows that RFU has much faith in him.

New Coaching Set-up for London Irish

London Irish Rugby Club Director Brian Smith has welcomed Mark Tainton as their new skills and kicking coach for the new season of 2013-14. Smith sounded hopeful as he showed his confidence in Smith saying that his experience shall come in handy for the kickers in the team as well as improve the core skills of each and every player in their squad. Brian Smith is a former Bristol fly-half who has previously worked with the English national team before coaching Ireland for ten years as the technical kicking coach with Ronan O’Gara and Johnny Sexton.

James Hanks retires due to injury

James Hanks, the forward for the Aviva Premiership Rugby Football Union club the Exeter Chiefs, has been forced to hang up his boots following his failure to recover from a serious neck injury.

The 29 year old suffered the injury during the club’s win against Bath Rugby in the semi final of the LV=Cup last month and following several visits to specialists, he has been told to end his ten year long career.

With Hanks retiring, he becomes the third Chiefs player to call time on his career this season due to injury, following the likes of hooker Chris Whitehead and skipper Tom Hayes.

HERNANDEZ MISSING FROM ARGENTINA SQUAD

Juan Martin Hernandez is the major name out of the Argentina squad for the World Cup according to the Free Rugby Bet website. ARGENTINA DEFEATED BY NEW ZEALAND

Argentina have been defeated by New Zealand in the London Sevens. South Africa came from 14-0 down to see off Fiji to win the London trophy for the first time since 2005.

Earlier New Zealand’s 31-14 quarter-final win over Argentina saw them crowned champions with a round to spare ahead of next week’s 2011 series finale in Edinburgh.

South Africa’s 24 points for winning in London means they are third in the standings with 116 points, behind England (121) and ahead of Samoa (112) and Fiji (110).

JUAN SIGNS WITH CANTERBURY

Argentinian centre Juan Del Val has signed new deal with Canterbury Rugby Club. The 28-year-old centre has played top-flight club rugby in Argentina for the past six seasons and represented the Buenos Aires regional side at under-19 and under-23 level.

The club are hoping to include Del Val in the squad which travels to meet Southend in National 2 South on Saturday, but are awaiting international clearance from the Argentina Rugby Union.

Canterbury spokesman David Haigh said: “We have been looking for an experienced centre for some time and Juan’s decision to come and play in Europe could not have come at a more opportune moment for us.”
