The Argentinean rugby union team will be facing strong favorites and world cup winners New Zealand in the 2016 Rugby Championships to be held on Sunday on 2nd October.
The All Blacks team is in great form of late and has won their last 6 matches convincingly. They even had the upper hand over Argentina when they last met on 10th September for the Rugby Championships in New Zealand.
Argentina also has a poor record against The All Blacks, but this is not deterring them to perform better on the game day.
The Argentinean team is preparing hard and is sweating it out in the practice field in order to put up a good show against the mighty New Zealand side. They were beaten pretty badly last time by All Blacks with a score line of 57-22. Argentinean side does not want a repeat of the last match and want to give a very tough fight to the New Zealand team at the outset. The team is currently in the 4th position of the Rugby Championships table with 5 points out of 4 games. New Zealand stay perched on top of the standings with 4 wins out of 4 games.
The fact that the Pumas will be competing against the mighty All Blacks on home soil will give them the much needed energy and enthusiasm to perform at their best. The team wants to give their best shot and try to win over the All Blacks and thereby hand New Zealand their first defeat of the Championship. Argentina’s recent form does not have a pretty good reading with just 2 wins in their last 6 outings. They put up a spirited show against Australia in the last Rugby Championship match and will be hoping to improve on that performance when they clash against New Zealand on October 2.
