Rugby Football Union Championship club Bristol Rugby have announced the signing of former England flanker Tom Varndell on a two year deal from the Aviva Premiership Rugby Football Union club Wasps RUFC ahead of the new season.
The 29 year old spent six years at the Premiership giants and was one of their star players as they went from mediocrity following success in the early 2000s to stabilising again when Dai Young took over as the new head coach.
